2. What PlateIQ Provides

PlateIQ is a food recognition, habit tracking and lifestyle support tool using AI-generated estimates. It is not medical or nutritional advice.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

• Only use PlateIQ for lawful purposes.
• Not misuse or damage the app, website, or its systems.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or manipulate the app.
• Not use PlateIQ to create harmful, abusive, or misleading content.
• Provide accurate information when inputting meals or personal data.

4. Accounts & Security

If PlateIQ allows account creation, you are responsible for keeping your login details private.

• Do not share your password.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately.

5. Beta Features & Instability

PlateIQ is actively being developed and may include beta features.

• Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
• Data may be reset at any time during beta phases.
• No guarantee is made about accuracy, stability, or availability.

6. Third-Party Services

PlateIQ may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., payment processors, Discord).

• These services have their own terms and privacy policies.
• PlateIQ is not responsible for third-party behaviour or content.

7. Limitation of Liability

As far as the law allows, PlateIQ and its creator cannot be held liable for:

• Any health, fitness, or lifestyle decisions you make.
• Any loss, damage, injury, or claims resulting from your use of PlateIQ.
• Errors, bugs, outages, data loss, or inaccuracies.
• Your reliance on estimates, trends, or AI-generated information.

You use PlateIQ at your own risk. If you disagree with these terms, do not use the service.

8. Payments & Subscriptions

PlateIQ may offer premium features (“PlateIQ+”). When this becomes available:

• Subscriptions will be handled securely via third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe).
• Refunds, cancellations and renewals will be handled through that payment provider.
• You must ensure your billing information is accurate and up to date.

PlateIQ may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms.
• You misuse or damage the service.
• You attempt to abuse early access, beta roles, or developer channels.
